Lupita Nyong'o named People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman

Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong'o has been named People magazine's Most Beautiful woman 2014. She covers the 25th publication of the magazine.

An excited Lupita says its a major compliment; 

"It was exciting and just a major, major compliment and especially, I was happy for all the girls who would see me on [it] and feel a little more seen." she said

Lupita Nyong'o becomes Lancôme's first black spokesperson

Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o announced yesterday Thursday April 3rd that she’s the new face of cosmetics giant, Lancôme. The actress is the beauty company’s first black ambassador. She joins other A-list ambassadors like Kate Winslet and Julia Roberts.

In a statement to the media, Lupita said she was proud to represent Lancôme and that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself.

Lancôme ad campaigns featuring Lupita will begin airing in September.

Lupita Nyong'o madly excited as Jay Z raps about her in new song

You know you are made when Jay Z puts your name in his song. Well, winning an Oscar is bigger but still... Lupita Nyong'o tweeted yesterday that she screeched with glee when she found out Jay Z rapped about her.

In his song with Jay Electronica titled 'We Made It', (where he also dissed Drake) Jay Z rapped;
