Several Nigerian Artistes dominates World Music Awards nominations

Several Nigerian artistes including Waje, P-Sqaure, D'banj, Iyanya, Femi Kuti, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Dare Art Alade, Praiz, 2face Idibia and others bagged nominations in various categories in the 2014 World Music Awards. The World Music Awards rewards the best-selling music artistes from every continent. It is decided by votes. Iyanya leads the Nigerian nominees with 6 awards

Waje was nominated in four categories including Album of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. The 'I wish' songbird is enjoying some international attention off of her debut album. D'banj, Femi Kuti, other African artistes collaborate on ONE theme song

Femi Kuti, D'banj, Omawumi, Victoria Kimani, Buffalo Soulja, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Fally Ipupa and many other African artistes team in Johannesburg South Africa for One/DO Agric Project. They will lend their voices in support of the slogan of African Union for 2014 which has been declared as year of Agriculture and food security.
